Sure its not the 50 pounds that I am working for but taking a 5 pound notch out of that total is feeling great! I am very happy with myself! It wasn't easy, however it wasn't super hard. I never felt deprived or hungry. When I was hungry I ate, when I wanted chocolate, I had chocolate (in moderation!). All things considered (being on my period, first week of learning a new program, etc.) I am extremely happy with my results! I am going to slowly work some exercise into the mix. I don't want to over do it or get overwhelmed with doing it all ALL at once. This was a nice boost that I needed to keep my on track! Actually getting results is the best possible motivation. I have faith in this program and I have faith in myself! Looking forward to my future successes :)

Day 3 and Feeling Good :)
1-8-12
Today is the end of day 3 of doing Weight Watchers very strictly. I have been probably 7-10 points under what I should be eating everyday. I haven't really been hungry, but if I get hungry, I eat. I don't feel deprived at all. Today I was driving by some of my favorite places to eat and I didn't feel the urge to go. I looked at the restaurants and knew I wasn't hungry. Normally if I had an urge to stop somewhere I would, but today I ate before I left. One my way home from Emily's I was starting to get hungry and those same restaurants were calling my name on the way home. I made it home made a healthy lunch and felt much better about myself. I weighed myself this morning and was down a few pounds (however, my scale isn't exactly accurate to the WW scale at the meetings) so I am still kind of unsure about if I have lost anything. I am also about to start my period so as most women know that messes with your weight. I am really excited for Thursday night to be officially weighed in and find out if my work has paid off in pounds! Staying motivated! :)

The first day of the rest of my life...
Today was my first day in the journey of my weight loss. Last night my friend Emily and myself joined Weight Watchers. We decided that doing this together would help to motivate each other, give us someone to vent to as well as share recipes and exercise with. Most of all we are there to support one another. For me this will be a huge lifestyle change. I have said it a thousand times that I want to lose weight, or I'm going to lose weight, then I always fall victim to my old terrible habits. I am going to be agressive and very blunt with myself, which believe it or not is a very challenging task. I am overweight, I eat the wrong things in too large of quantities, I don't work out, and I continually make excuses as to why I have gained nearly 100 pounds since I was 16. Sure I can say its genetics, its hormonal, my parents eat out at restaurants all the time, it happens to everyone, yada-yada... but at what point to do I decide that I won't let those factors dictate my life anymore? Sure, I do have a hormonal condition and it is PARTIALLY to blame for the weight I have put on, but I have to finally grow up and take responsibility for the fact that I am the way I am currently because of my poor decision making and lack of effort. I am RESPONSIBLE for my body and I am now going to take responsibility for shaping myself and my life the way I want it to be. I want to be happy, I want to love to shop again, I want to feel sexy, and most of all I want to not feel uncomfortable in my own skin. I honestly do feel like a skinny girl trapped in a fat girls body, because I used to be that skinny girl. I used to be fit, active, and full of life... I'm just not sure when along the line things changed and I let that go. Well, starting today I am getting the girl back! I am 25 year old, educated woman who has the love of her life. I want to feel confident, sexy, and most of all I just want to be happy with myself. I want to get married, start a family, and have control over myself and my bad habits. I WILL do this. I know there are going to be struggles, temptations, and bad days, even bad weeks. But I have to know that I will make this change and be the best me that I can be!

Success leads to success.
Success is always a work in progress.
Success doesn't come to you--you go to it.Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.
Some people dream about success... while others wake up and work hard at it.
Success is achieved and maintained by those who try-and keep trying.
Everyday is a good day to SUCCEED!
If at first you don't succeed-try, try again"
